Wimbledon International Running Tracks.

Wimbledon has developed a very strong hard wearing running track that is proving extremely popular as a track around the perimeter of school football and multipurpose fields.

We have confirmed with the Athletic authorities that records reordered on our tracks will be recognised provided the track meets all other criteria.

Our advice is that athletes utilising synthetic tracks build up their leg power and are more likely to advance at official athletic meetings.

Wimbledon International Running tracks are made of a 19 to 25mm strong pile. The Wimbledon running track has a reasonable dense pile to ensure it can withstand the constant use that the inside lane receives.

Synthetic grass tracks add greatly to the pleasure and safety of school children utilising and running off the centre play field.

Wimbledon warrants its Wimbledon International Running track material for 5 years including UV colour stability.

Technical Details

Wimbledon can build their tracks with all the lines factory-built into the straight.

All radius lines are cut into the grass.

We know from our many years of experience that with track areas the waste percentage on the Synthetic Grass is higher than with field areas. To quickly calculate how much grass you need first measure the exact area of the track- then add 10% for waste.

Running track lines are all 50mm wide in white colour unless specified otherwise.

Width of each lane is 1220mm measured from the centre of each line. Our factory tufting is set up like this unless a specific change is made by the customer.
